From Bodegas Luis Cañas in Spain’s Rioja Alavesa, the Gran Reserva 2018 is a refined blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano sourced from old vines averaging over 50 years on low-yielding plots that impart concentration and classic character.

Hand-harvested grapes undergo selection on a double table for clusters and berries, followed by malolactic fermentation in new casks and 24 months' aging in new oak barrels (70% French, 30% American) to enhance roundness and polish while preserving the essence of traditional Rioja style.
