Olivier Leflaive Bourgogne Blanc Oncle Vincent Vieilles Vignes 2020

From the esteemed Olivier Leflaive estate in Puligny-Montrachet, the Oncle Vincent Bourgogne Blanc 2020 is a tribute to Vincent Leflaive, crafted from 100% Chardonnay. Sourced from eight sustainably farmed plots on calcareous clay soils near Puligny, it’s hand-harvested and fermented in French oak. Aged 12 months (15% new oak), it offers a pale gold hue and refined complexity.

Winemaking Process

Leflaive’s meticulous approach shines in this wine. The 2020 vintage undergoes gentle pneumatic pressing, with 30% whole clusters, followed by fermentation in 15% new French oak barrels. After 12 months of aging, including three in stainless steel, the wine is fined and filtered, creating a structured yet fresh Chardonnay with Puligny’s aristocratic intensity.
