Vaulorent is a very special and interesting vineyard. It is located inside the premier cru vineyard of Fourchaume. It is the only premier cru vineyard on the same slope as the Grand Crus. It borders Preuses. While it is not that well known outside aboard, it is high appreciated in France as it approaches the quality of Grand Cru. It makes an austere, powerful wine with a lot of density that requires a few years of bottling ageing to reveal itself.
