From Querciabella in Greve, Chianti Classico, the Palafreno 2020 is a refined Merlot from high-elevation vineyards in the Ruffoli district on clay-limestone soils. Hand-harvested from organic, biodynamic vineyards, it’s aged 18 months in French oak barriques, offering a deep ruby hue with vibrant complexity.

The nose reveals black cherry, mocha, and new leather, with hints of spice and espresso. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and plush, with firm tannins, bright acidity, and flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, and a deep, saline finish.
