Premier cru Santenots is special in the sense that it is actually located wholly inside Meursault instead of the village of Volnay.  However, since Meursault is so well known for its white wines, the premier cru vineyard of Santenots is then attached to the village of Volnay on the label given that Volnay is famous for its red wines.
