Ried Lamm sits on erosion material from Heiligenstein with a high proportion of clay, giving the wine both breadth and tension. The wine is fermented and matured in large traditional Austrian oak casks, which supports a layered texture while keeping the style dry, focused, and classically Austrian.
Tasting Notes
Expect yellow apple, pear, ripe peach, citrus peel, white pepper, herbal spice, honey, and a creamy but firm palate. The finish is long, dry, and mineral-driven, with enough richness to show the site’s warmth but enough freshness to keep the wine precise.
