Serving Suggestion

  • Temperature: Serve slightly cool at 15–16°C. Keeping it cool ensures the delicate forest floor nuances and vibrant red fruit aromatics stay tightly focused.
  • Decanting: A brief 30-minute decant is highly recommended. Given the natural reduction often present in Taupenot-Merme's youth, a bit of oxygen will quickly unfurl the compact fruit and soften the fine-grained tannins. It will cellar gracefully over the next 6 to 10 years.
