Royal Tokaji describes this wine as the definitive regional expression of Furmint, with fruit sourced from estate and negociant vineyards in Tokaj. The 2020 vintage was challenging because of heavy rain, but the winery says the grapes were picked at the right time and showed very good acidity and balance. Fermentation was split between stainless steel and barrels, with some new oak and lees maturation to add texture and subtle complexity.
