Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros
This Climat rests at the western end of the Grands Crus terroir, at an altitude varying from 130 to 170 m, on a fairly deep soil of marl and clay with a south-west orientation. We find in the wines of this appellation a structure in the mouth that is always very rich and unctuous. Rich bouquet with intense mineral notes. Ample, round, firm and massive on the palate at the same time.
Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru Vaudesir
This climate offers various exposures right in the middle of all the Grands Crus. Located on sloping ground, more clayey than limestone, it gives wines full of finesse and elegance. Fresh and refined fragrances of flowers and fruits. On the palate, it is distinguished by a particular subtlety: a delicious marriage of nervousness and suppleness. Aerial and round, it is very charming from an early age.
Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru Valmur
The terroir of this Grand Cru is divided into two parts, to the right and to the left of the path to the Sainte Vaubourg fountain on shallow clay-limestone soils. Its shape evokes that of a small valley, hence the name Valmur. Charming bouquet with a surprising fruitiness and a good mineral presence. The powerful mouth and strong constitution lacks neither elegance nor roundness.
Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros Cote Bouguerots
Very sloping land with a slope greater than 30%, this terroir of Bougros enjoys a southern exposure at the foot of the hill. The thin soil, a mixture of clay and pebbles which strongly restricts the vigor of the vine to give complex and vigorous wines. Complex and mineral bouquet, powerful and dense structure with a pleasant roundness.
Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru Preuses
The name of this climate probably originates from the deformation of the word "perreuse" (stone), the name given to the old Roman road whose route passed at the foot of the current terroir. Structured for aging thanks to a dense and compact clay soil resting on a limestone slab, the wines are long and racy. Floral nose, fruit flavors enhanced with intense mineral notes evolving into slightly smoky touches. Mouth with great roundness, both full-bodied and refined.
Domaine William Fevre Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos
The largest and most famous of the Grands Crus, it is the historic cradle of the Chablis vineyard. The terroir, facing south, with a soil composed of very white, dense and deep clays, rests on a limestone compression located at 80 cm which brings typical spicy notes. Remarkably complex bouquet combining fruity, floral and spicy notes, with great minerality. Full-bodied mouth opening up with age to give powerful and generous wines.
