Collection: Chacra

Bodega Chacra, founded in 2003 by Piero Incisa della Rochetta, whose grandfather started the ‘super Tuscan’ Sassicaia, is setting the benchmark for Pinot Noir in South America. Bodega Chacra crafts exclusively Pinot Noir wines in the Río Negro Valley of northern Patagonia, in Argentina. The Pinot Noir vines grow on their own rootstocks, planted more than 79 years ago and producing concentrated, 100% biodynamic, organic, natural and unfiltered Pinot Noir.  Chacra strives to make wines that are transparent, pure, delicate, and floral with a strong minerality.

Chacra's Treinta y Dos 2018 was awarded the perfect 100 scores by James Suckling.  "The structure of this is phenomenal and redefines pinot noir in Argentina. Aromas and flavors of dried strawberry, iodine, oyster shell, wet earth, fresh mushrooms and flowers. Full-bodied, tight and focused with chewy tannins and a long, extensive mouth feel. Better after 2024."
