Chacra Barda Pinot Noir Patagonia 2024 is a vibrant second wine from biodynamically farmed old vines (1990s plantings) in Rio Negro Valley, showcasing elegant purity from high-altitude, windy terroir. Pale ruby with aromas of cherry, cranberry, strawberry, peach blossom, and spice, it delivers bright acidity, silky tannins, and fresh minerality.

Produced from ungrafted massale selection vines on sandy silt soils in Mainque, hand-harvested grapes are refrigerated for freshness, destemmed by hand, and fermented in concrete tanks with native yeasts and 15% whole clusters. Aged 11 months with 50% in neutral French oak (15% new) and 50% concrete to preserve crunchiness, yielding low 11-12.5% alcohol and biodynamic purity without filtration.

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby hue with perfumed cherry, cranberry, strawberry, peach hints, violets, and subtle spice. Medium-bodied palate shows vivid freshness, silky fine tannins, pure red fruit, mineral crunch, and a lively, energetic finish.
