Collection: La Chablisienne

La Chablisienne was founded in 1923. With a membership of nearly 300 growers, La Chablisienne is the largest co-operative in Chablis owning almost 25% of the vineyard and can offer all Chablis appellations (Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru, Chablis Grand Cru). Among all its Grand Crus, the most prestigious is the Chateau Grenouilles from the unique Chateau of the hill of Grand Crus.

La Chablisienne is voted as the best wine producer in France in 2016 and 2018 at the International Wine & Spirit Competition. Its oenologist, Vincent Bartement, was also awarded the title of White Winemaker in 2014 and 2016 at the International Wine Challenge.

As a co-operative, pressing is carried out by the member winegrowers as doing this as near as possible to the vines can guarantee the optimal quality of the musts. La Chablisienne then takes over managing the rest of winemaking such as racking, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Fermentation takes place either in temperature controlled stainless steel vats or in 228 litre oak barrels.
