Collection: Xiaopu

Xiaopu is the first nomadic winery in China, established in 2017 by ex-sommelier and wine maker Ian Dai.  Since its first Ningxia wine Gathering, Xiaopu now work with grape growers in six terroirs to produce natural-style wines.  Xiaopu wines are product of the nature, and we hope to make wines in sustainable way, with respect to the land and the people.  We hope to spread seeds of slow wine philosophy to make the process from planting to fermenting more fair and friendly to the land, farmers and workers.

Wine is a collaborative result between people and the land.  Xiaopu always try to look for long-term partners who share the vision of sustainable agriculture.  We try to connect China's local farmers with modern farming philosophies.

The nomandic nature has given us the opportunity to be more adventurious.  Xiaopu has developed classic wine styles like Northern Rhone, Chablis, Beaujolais Cru etc.  We also try to introduce styles like orange wine, Pet-Nat and claret to China with our wines.
