(JR18) This was very impressive ‚Äì although note the suggested drinking bracket. This is a very long haul wine, but definitely one of the more successful candidates from this extremely tannic vintage. The wine looks fully mature and has a thoroughly exciting complex nose with just the right amount of lift. Lots of richness on the nose and greta extract but very dry, dense chewy tannins ‚still! But the fruit density suggests this will make a great drink ‚ eventually. (Jancis Robinson - Tasted Sep 2005)
