This estate forms part of the holdings of the amiable Conte GianLuigi Borghini Baldovinetti de’ Bacci Venuti known collectively as Fattoria San Fabiano. Poggio Uliveto includes 20 ha of vineyards and from a new winery and cellar around 30,000 bottles of Vino Nobile are made. 10% of Canaiolo is included in the blend and a long maceration precedes ageing in both tonneaux and barriques. The resulting style is admirably balanced with lots of charm.
