Château Durfort-Vivens Margaux 2015

Château Durfort-Vivens Margaux 2015

From the historic Château Durfort-Vivens in Margaux, Bordeaux, the 2015 vintage is a sophisticated red from the Left Bank’s renowned appellation. Crafted from 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc, sourced from 55 hectares of gravelly soils, it’s hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel and concrete vats. Aged 18 months in French oak barrels (40% new), it reflects the exceptional 2015 vintage with a deep ruby hue and refined complexity.

Winemaking Process

Durfort-Vivens’ biodynamic approach since 2013 shines in this wine. The 2015 vintage, from 35-year-old vines, undergoes parcel-by-parcel vinification with gentle extraction to preserve fruit purity. Aging in 40% new French oak for 18 months enhances its structure, creating a balanced wine with Margaux’s signature elegance and long aging potential.
