A very classic traditional style Barolo with excellent elegance. Cannubi is one of the most prestigious vineyards in the whole of Barolo. The vineyard consists of more or less compact sand alternating with the grey sandstone. Alcoholic fermentation usually lasts about 7-8 days with temperature never to exceed 26C in stainless steel tanks. The maceration is carried over a prolonged period of another 10-15 days with frequent pump overs. The wine was aged in Slavonian oak (30hl) for another two years and rest for another year in bottle.
