Bruno Giacosa Barolo Falletto 2014

Bruno Giacosa Barolo Falletto 2014

From the legendary Bruno Giacosa winery in Serralunga d’Alba, Piedmont, the Barolo Falletto 2014 is a masterful red from the Falletto cru. Crafted from 100% Nebbiolo, sourced from 60-year-old vines on limestone-clay soils at 350–400 meters, it’s hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel. Aged 36 months in large French oak casks and 12 months in bottle, it offers a garnet hue and profound complexity.

Winemaking Process

Giacosa’s traditional artistry defines this wine. The 2014 vintage, from a challenging yet elegant year, undergoes fermentation in stainless steel with 25–30 days of maceration and regular pump-overs. Aged 36 months in large French oak casks and 12 months in bottle, it develops fine tannins and tertiary aromas, creating a refined Barolo with exceptional aging potential.
