Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2019 vintage—characterized by cool conditions yielding concentrated yet vibrant fruit—are destemmed, fermented in temperature-controlled tanks with indigenous yeasts, and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels to enhance structure and finesse. As a family-owned estate since 1928 committed to sustainable practices, this limited-release wine yields a deep ruby wine with purple edges and remarkable poise.
Tasting Notes An elegant, savory red with earth-driven black fruits and refined spice, reflecting Yarra Valley’s cool-climate terroir. The nose reveals blackcurrants, cedar, tobacco leaves, and plums, with hints of graphite and herbs.
