From De Bortoli Wines, Australia’s esteemed family-owned producer in the Riverina region of New South Wales, the Petit Moscato Rosé NV is a delightful 100% Muscat crafted from Muscat Rouge à Petits Grains sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards on fertile alluvial soils. Hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve bright aromatics, with light carbonation added for its signature frizzante style, emphasizing minimal intervention and pure varietal expression. This approach yields a pretty pink wine with lively highlights and inviting effervescence.

Tasting Notes A charming, effervescent rosé with vibrant berry and sorbet notes, capturing Riverina’s sunny charm. The nose bursts with fresh strawberries, Turkish delight, grapey sweetness, and hints of rose petal and musk. On the palate, it is light-bodied and refreshing, with gentle fizz, balanced sweetness, crisp acidity, and flavors of strawberry sorbet, red berries, and a touch of citrus zest, leading to a smooth, refreshing finish.

Awards and Accolades The Petit Moscato Rosé NV earned 90 points from James Suckling for its vibrant fruitiness and delicate sparkle.

Serving and Cellaring Serve well-chilled at 6-8°C without decanting to maintain its sparkle. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with fresh fruit desserts, berry tarts, or light picnics. Enjoy now through 2027, retaining its youthful fruitiness with subtle development in complexity.
