From De Bortoli Wines, Australia's esteemed family-owned producer in the Riverina region of New South Wales, the VIVO Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut Cuvée NV is a meticulously crafted sparkling blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from premium, sustainably farmed vineyards with generous canopies allowing gentle ripening. The base wines undergo cold fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness, followed by secondary fermentation in bottle using the traditional method, with extended lees aging to develop complexity and finesse. This dedication to quality yields a pale straw sparkling wine with an unrelenting fine bead and remarkable vivacity.

Tasting Notes An elegant, creamy sparkling wine with vibrant citrus and subtle yeast notes, reflecting Australia's sparkling tradition. The nose unveils fresh lemon pith, white flowers, brioche, and hints of barley sugar and fresh cream. On the palate, it is light-bodied and refined, featuring lively acidity, voluminous mousse, delicate textures, and flavors of citrus, iced pastries, and a touch of bread dough, leading to a delicately fresh, fine acid finish.

Awards and Accolades The NV VIVO Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut Cuvée earned 90 points from James Suckling for its fresh citrus character and elegant balance.

Serving and Cellaring Serve chilled at 8-10°C without decanting to maintain its effervescence. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, salads, or light poultry dishes. Enjoy now through 2028, during which it will develop enhanced creamy and nutty nuances.
