From Ferrari Trento, Italy’s pioneering metodo classico house founded in 1902 in the Trentino region, the Rosé NV is a refined blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay sourced from high-altitude vineyards (300-700 meters) on the slopes of the Dolomites, featuring calcareous and mineral-rich soils that impart exceptional freshness and structure. Hand-harvested grapes undergo gentle pressing with a brief maceration on Pinot Noir skins for color, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and secondary fermentation in the bottle with a minimum of 24 months’ aging on lees to develop complexity and finesse. Committed to sustainable viticulture and the Trento DOC designation, this cuvée yields a pale salmon sparkling wine with persistent fine mousse and remarkable purity.

Tasting Notes An elegant, vinous rosé sparkling with ripe red berries and delicate spice, reflecting Trento’s mountain terroir. The nose reveals fresh strawberry, raspberry, rose petal, and hints of brioche and pink grapefruit. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and creamy, with vibrant acidity, fine bubbles, and flavors of red currant, orange zest, and subtle pastry, leading to a long, mineral-laced finish.

Awards and Accolades The NV Ferrari Trento Rosé earned 93 points from James Suckling for its creamy texture and refined fruit purity.

Serving and Cellaring Serve chilled at 8-10°C without decanting to preserve effervescence. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with smoked salmon, charcuterie, or berry desserts. Enjoy now through 2032, during which it will develop enhanced nutty and autolytic nuances.
