From Forrest Wines in New Zealand’s Marlborough, the Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is a refined 100% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from four vineyards around Renwick in the Wairau River Valley on gravel-rich, free-draining soils that ensure smaller berries and lower cropping levels for premium intensity. Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2024 vintage—characterized by moderate conditions yielding concentrated yet vibrant fruit—undergo gentle pressing and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic freshness and purity. Certified sustainable, this production yields a pale straw wine with green highlights and remarkable vibrancy.

Tasting Notes A classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with passion fruit, grapefruit, elderflower, and flowering blooms on the nose. To taste, it has passion fruit and guava, aromatic herbs like lemon thyme and sage, with hints of white flowers. It’s full and generous in the mouth, yet crisp, refreshing, and dry with just a hint of zesty acidity.

Awards and Accolades The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc earned 90 points from James Suckling for its typicity with melon, green apple, pear drops, and medium body with kiwi fruit, lemon, and green melon. It also received a Gold Medal from the Women’s Wine & Spirits Awards.

Serving and Cellaring Serve chilled at 8-10°C without decanting to preserve vibrancy. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, salads, or light poultry. Enjoy now through 2028, during which it will develop subtle honeyed notes.
