Hartmann Donà Donà Blanc 2012

From the artisanal Hartmann Donà winery in Cermes, Alto Adige, the Donà Blanc 2012 is a refined cuvée of 60% Pinot Blanc and 40% Chardonnay. Sourced from 40–50-year-old vines on steep, mineral-rich limestone soils near Bolzano, it’s hand-harvested and fermented in oak barrels. Aged 23 months on lees in barrels and 2 years in bottle, it offers a golden hue and complex maturity.

Winemaking Process

Hartmann Donà’s traditional approach defines this wine. The 2012 vintage undergoes gentle pressing and fermentation in wooden barrels with natural malolactic fermentation. Extended lees aging for 23 months in barrels, followed by 2 years in bottle, enhances roundness and minerality, creating a soft, savory white with a well-integrated structure and long aging potential.
