Sourced from 30-year-old vines on decomposed red-granite Hutton soils, vinified in stainless steel, underwent malolactic, then matured 24 months in 100% new 225L French Nevers oak barrels for seamless structure and depth from the challenging yet balanced 2021 vintage.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with aromas of blackcurrants, plums, blackberries, cherries, tobacco, cedar, graphite, and cocoa. Full-bodied palate shows dark fruits, forest floor, silky firm tannins, lively acidity, wood spices, and very long mineral finish.
