(Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy 97) A fractionally deeper lemon in color with a broad and oaky bouquet. Seems to be a broad shouldered sort of wine but will it prove to be fine enough? Yes it emphatically does on the palate, the minerals were just found beneath a superficial layer of flesh. They extend beautifully at the back of the palate in a particularly fine lingerie finish. Drink from 2026-2034. Tested May 2024.
