From Planeta in Italy’s Noto, the Passito di Noto 2024 is a refined 100% Moscato Bianco sourced from the Buonivini vineyard on calcareous soils that impart vibrancy and depth. Hand-harvested grapes in the second half of August undergo air-drying in plastic crates (5 kg each) for 40 days to lose half their water weight and concentrate sugars, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to achieve balance. This production, reviving Sicily's ancient sweet wine tradition, yields a golden wine with remarkable purity and elegance.

Tasting Notes A luminous, sweetly aromatic Passito with bright orange and almond blossom aromas, honey, dried apricot, and sweet summer fruit, cut by piquant spice and acidity to balance the natural sweetness and thickness. The nose exudes dried apricot, mango, orange peel, medlar, dates, pistachio cream, and vanilla with citrus marmalade. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied and harmonious, with balanced acidity, velvety texture, and flavors of Darjeeling tea, mimosa flowers, and orange blossom, leading to a long, opulent finish.

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 10-12°C with 20 minutes of chilling to accentuate aromas. Ideal with fruit tarts, cheesecakes, or sipped alone. Enjoy now through 2035, developing enhanced nutty and caramel nuances.
