From Querciabella in Tuscany's Chianti Classico region, the Ardalico Chianti Classico 2022 is a refined 100% Sangiovese sourced from younger vineyards across the estate's holdings in Greve in Chianti on varied soils that impart vibrancy and immediate appeal.

Hand-harvested grapes undergo micro-vinifications to preserve parcel individuality, with the final blend assembled to reflect the vintage's personality, followed by patient maturation that adds suppleness and finesse while highlighting pure Sangiovese fruit notes. As a junior expression from this biodynamic pioneer estate, this production emphasizes natural winemaking and vegan-friendly practices, yielding a bright ruby wine with violet reflections and remarkable drinkability.

Tasting Notes A vibrant, fruit-forward Chianti Classico with juicy cherry and pomegranate fruit, a twist of cranberry, and touches of cedar and spice, wrapped in soft-toned acidity and sleek tannins for an approachable, versatile style. The nose displays juicy cherry and pomegranate with cranberry freshness and subtle cedar. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and harmonious, with soft acidity, sleek tannins, and flavors of red fruit, light spice, and balanced vibrancy, leading to a clean, elegant finish.

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 16-18°C with 30 minutes of decanting to enhance aromas. Ideal with herb-roasted chicken, red meat, or pork, fennel, and caper ragù. Enjoy now through 2032, during which it will develop subtle earthy nuances.
