Created in 2012 to celebrate 50 years of Cantine San Marzano, this non-vintage wine blends Salento's best Negroamaro and Primitivo from 50+ year-old bush vines on clay soils at 100m altitude. Slightly overripe grapes undergo cold maceration, indigenous yeast fermentation and 12 months French oak aging for opulent power and structure.​

  • Nose: Prune, red jam, vanilla, licorice, chocolate and spice.​

  • Palate: Full-bodied, intense, smooth with ripe fruit and soft tannins.​

  • Finish: Long, persistent with enveloping richness.​
