Produced by Domaine Christian Sérafin Père & Fils from old vines in the Les Baudes 1er Cru vineyard on the Côte de Nuits, featuring clay-limestone soils at around 250m elevation with south-facing exposure. Grapes are hand-harvested, fermented in concrete or stainless with gentle extraction, followed by 12-18 months aging in French oak barrels (30-50% new), yielding a classic Chambolle of finesse and balance at approximately 13.5% alcohol.
Tasting Notes
Medium ruby with bright rim; aromas of black cherry, red berries, violet, wet stone, and subtle spice. The palate is pure and elegant with silky tannins, concentrated red fruit core, mineral freshness, floral lift, and a long, refined finish blending earth and sappy notes.
