From Maison Saint Aix in France's Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, the AIX Rosé 2024 is a refined blend of Grenache (60%), Syrah (20%), and Cinsault (20%) sourced from high-elevation vineyards (400-420 meters) on clay-limestone and sandy soils at Domaine de la Grande Séouve, where the Mistral wind ensures healthy grapes and the plateau location fosters balance and minerality. Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2024 vintage—characterized by moderate conditions yielding fresh, concentrated fruit—undergo destemming, low-temperature maceration (5-6 hours), and separate fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 57°F for 12-16 days, followed by cold stabilization to achieve the signature pale color. Sustainable practices underpin production, yielding a pale salmon wine with green highlights and remarkable purity.

Tasting Notes An elegant, refreshing rosé with vibrant fruit and mineral precision, reflecting Provence's Mediterranean terroir. The nose unveils strawberry, watermelon, peach, and hints of floral notes with subtle minerality. On the palate, it is light-bodied and harmonious, with bright acidity, delicate texture, and flavors of citrus zest, pink grapefruit, and wet stone, leading to a long, crisp finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2024 AIX Rosé earned 91 points from Wine Spectator for its vibrant freshness and elegant balance, a Gold Medal at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge for its refined expression, and a Gold Medal at Mundus Vini Spring Tasting 2025 for its precise minerality.

Serving and Cellaring Serve chilled at 8-10°C without decanting to preserve vibrancy. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with salads, grilled fish, poultry, or Asian dishes like sushi. Enjoy now through 2028, during which it will develop subtle honeyed notes.
