From Château de Beaucastel in France's Côtes du Rhône, the Coudoulet de Beaucastel Blanc 2023 is a refined 100% Roussanne sourced from the historic 30-hectare Coudoulet vineyard adjacent to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, featuring sandy-clay and limestone soils that impart elegance and balance. Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2023 vintage—characterized by moderate conditions yielding concentrated yet fresh fruit—undergo gentle pneumatic pressing, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with partial malolactic conversion, followed by 6 months' lees aging to enhance texture and complexity. As the white counterpart to the renowned red Coudoulet, this organic production yields a pale gold wine with green highlights and poised vibrancy.

Tasting Notes An elegant, textured white with ripe stone fruit and mineral vibrancy, reflecting Côtes du Rhône's diverse terroir. The nose reveals apricot, pear, white flowers, and hints of flint and herbs. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and harmonious, with bright acidity, creamy texture, and flavors of citrus pith, green apple, and chalky minerality, leading to a long, refreshing finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2023 Coudoulet de Beaucastel Blanc earned 92 points from James Suckling for its fantastic balance and excellent concentration.

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 10-12°C with 20-30 minutes of chilling to accentuate aromas. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, poultry, or soft cheeses. Enjoy now through 2033, during which it will develop subtle honeyed and nutty nuances.
