From Beaux Frères in Oregon's Willamette Valley, the Beaux Frères Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021 is a refined 100% Pinot Noir sourced exclusively from the estate's 32-acre vineyard on ancient marine sedimentary soils with Jory clay loam at 300-400 feet elevation, planted to Pommard and Wadenswil clones. Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2021 vintage—marked by cool conditions yielding concentrated yet elegant fruit—undergo whole-cluster fermentation in open-top fermenters, followed by 14-16 months' aging in French oak barrels (40% new) to enhance structure and complexity. Committed to biodynamic practices since 2008, this single-vineyard production yields a ruby wine with garnet edges and profound vibrancy.

Tasting Notes An elegant, layered red with vibrant red fruit and earthy finesse, reflecting Willamette Valley's volcanic terroir. The nose reveals sour cherry, raspberry, rose petal, and hints of sassafras, graphite, and forest floor. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and poised, with silky tannins, bright acidity, and flavors of red plum, wild strawberry, earth, and spice, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2021 Beaux Frères Vineyard Pinot Noir earned 96 points from Wine Advocate for its seductive aromatics, silky texture, and exceptional balance.

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 14-16°C with 45 minutes of decanting to unfold aromas. Ideal with roasted duck, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses. Enjoy now through 2035, developing enhanced truffle and leather nuances over time.
