Bibi Graetz Casamatta Rosso 2022

From the innovative Bibi Graetz in Tuscany, Italy, the Casamatta Rosso 2022 is a dynamic red blend celebrating regional tradition. Crafted from 70% Sangiovese, 20% Canaiolo, and 10% Colorino, sourced from Chianti and Maremma vineyards on clay-limestone soils, it’s hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel. Aged 6 months in neutral oak, it offers a ruby hue and bright, expressive character.

Winemaking Process

Graetz’s creative touch shapes this wine. The 2022 vintage undergoes spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel to capture fruit intensity, with minimal extraction for elegance. Aging 6 months in used oak barrels softens tannins, creating a vibrant, approachable red with balanced acidity and subtle spice, crafted for immediate enjoyment.
