The wine is made from fruit sourced largely from a cooler Oak Knoll vineyard and blended with a small amount of Semillon and Sauvignon Gris. It sees stainless-steel fermentation with no malolactic fermentation and five months in neutral French oak, giving a restrained oak frame that supports fruit purity and mouthfeel.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of fresh kiwi, honeydew, peach, lime leaf, and lemongrass lead into grapefruit, orange zest, lemon balm, green apple, dusty minerality, white pepper, and fresh thyme. The texture is supple with a light toast and yeast note from barrel aging, while the finish stays clean and lifted.

Serving and Cellaring

Serve chilled, around 8-10°C. Best with shellfish, sushi, white fish, or chicken in a white wine sauce, and it should drink well over the next few years.
