From Long Meadow Ranch in California's Napa Valley, the Farmstead Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 is a refined 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot blend sourced from estate vineyards across the Mayacamas Estate, including mountain and valley sites on varied alluvial and clay-loam soils that capture Napa's signature vibrancy and depth. Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2020 vintage—marked by moderate conditions yielding concentrated yet fresh fruit—undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 16 months' aging in neutral French oak barrels to enhance structure and purity without overt wood influence. Committed to full-circle organic farming since 2011, this production yields a crimson wine with remarkable approachability and finesse.
