From Champagne Drappier in the village of Urville within the Aube subregion, the Coteaux Champenois Perpétuité Blanc de Pinot Noir NV is a refined 100% Pinot Noir vinified as a still white wine, sourced from a perpetual reserve system started in 2015 using organic grapes from Kimmeridgian limestone soils that impart exceptional freshness and structure. Hand-harvested grapes undergo direct pressing, fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and aging in a solera-like system across multiple vintages to achieve harmony and complexity. As one of the rare still white Coteaux Champenois from Pinot Noir, this limited cuvée yields a pale gold wine with brilliant clarity and remarkable purity.

Tasting Notes An elegant, rare blanc de noirs with ripe peach and mineral tension, reflecting Urville’s limestone terroir. The nose reveals white peach, lemon zest, pear, and hints of chalk, brioche, and white flowers. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and vibrant, with crystalline acidity, fine texture, and flavors of citrus pith, green apple, and flinty minerality, leading to a long, saline finish.

Awards and Accolades The NV Perpétuité Blanc de Pinot Noir earned 93 points from James Suckling for its precise fruit and elegant minerality.

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 10-12°C with 20-30 minutes of chilling to accentuate aromas. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with oysters, grilled fish, or goat cheese. Enjoy now through 2035, during which it will develop enhanced nutty and honeyed nuances.
