From Champagne Drappier in the Aube subregion of Champagne, the Rosé de Saignée Brut NV is a refined 100% Pinot Noir produced via the rare saignée method, sourced from the estate's 75 hectares of organically farmed vineyards on limestone-rich soils that impart exceptional freshness and structure. Hand-harvested grapes undergo a brief maceration on the skins for color and intensity, followed by gentle pressing, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and secondary fermentation in the bottle with extended lees aging of at least 36 months to develop complexity and finesse. As one of the few houses specializing in this traditional rosé style since 1968, this production yields a coppery pink sparkling wine with persistent fine mousse and remarkable purity.

Tasting Notes An elegant, vinous rosé sparkling with ripe red berries and fresh vibrancy, reflecting Champagne's limestone terroir. The nose reveals strawberries, peaches, honey, and hints of brioche and pink peppercorn. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and creamy, with vibrant acidity, fine bubbles, and flavors of red berries, orange oil, and subtle spice, leading to a light, bright finish.

Awards and Accolades The NV Rosé de Saignée Brut earned 92 points from James Suckling for its creamy fruitiness and fresh brightness.

Serving and Cellaring Serve chilled at 8-10°C without decanting to preserve effervescence. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with smoked salmon, charcuterie, or berry desserts. Enjoy now through 2030, during which it will develop enhanced nutty and autolytic nuances.
