M. Chapoutier Ermitage L'Ermite Rouge 2014

From Maison M. Chapoutier in Tain-l’Hermitage, Northern Rhône, the Ermitage L'Ermite Rouge 2014 is a refined Syrah from 80-year-old vines on granitic soils around the Hermitage chapel. Hand-harvested from organic and biodynamic vineyards, it’s aged 18–20 months in French oak barrels (25% new), offering a deep purple hue with vibrant complexity.
