M. Chapoutier Ermitage L'Ermite Rouge 2021

From Maison M. Chapoutier in Tain-l’Hermitage, Northern Rhône, the Ermitage L'Ermite Rouge 2021 is a refined Syrah from 70-year-old vines on granitic soils around the Hermitage chapel. Hand-harvested from organic and biodynamic vineyards with some stem inclusion, it’s aged 18 months in demi-muids (25% new), offering a deep purple hue with vibrant complexity.
