From Maison M. Chapoutier in Tournon, Northern Rhône, the Saint-Joseph Les Granits Rouge 2022 is a refined Syrah from steep, granitic soils in the appellation’s birthplace. Hand-harvested from organic and biodynamic vineyards with old vines, it’s 100% destemmed with 10% whole bunch and aged 16–18 months in French oak casks (20% new), offering a deep ruby hue with vibrant complexity.
