From Chêne Bleu’s Domaine de la Verrière in Crestet, Vaucluse, the Abelard 2013 is a refined blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah. Sourced from organic vineyards at 530–550 meters near Mont Ventoux on clay-limestone soils, it’s hand-harvested and aged 18 months in French oak barrels, offering a deep ruby hue with vibrant complexity.

The nose reveals blackberry, red plum, and black cherry, with hints of spice, licorice, and garrigue. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and structured, with silky tannins, fresh acidity, and flavors of dark fruit, allspice, and a long, earthy finish.
