From De Bortoli Wines, Australia's esteemed family-owned producer in the Riverina region of New South Wales, the Jean Pierre Brut NV is a meticulously crafted sparkling blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir sourced from premium, sustainably farmed vineyards selected for their fruit purity and acid retention. Hand-harvested grapes are picked in the cool of the night and quickly pressed to tank, undergoing warm primary fermentation to preserve freshness, followed by secondary fermentation in Charmat tanks to achieve its signature fine bead and creamy texture. This innovative approach, featuring a pioneering screw cap closure for sparkling wine, yields a pale straw sparkling with unrelenting elegance and vivacity.

The nose unveils fresh lemon pith, green apple, brioche, and hints of barley sugar and rising dough. On the palate, it is light-bodied and refined, featuring lively acidity, voluminous mousse, delicate textures, and flavors of citrus, freshly buttered toast, and iced pastries, leading to a delicately fresh, fine acid finish.

Awards and Accolades The NV Jean Pierre Brut earned 92 points from James Suckling for its fresh citrus character and elegant balance.
