To the eye, the color is dark garnet. The fruity nose is marked by intense aromas of blackcurrant, plum and violet. This wine, ample and round on the palate, has a powerful tannic structure which gives it good aging potential.

Average Delas production: 150,000 bottles (75 cl) per year. Grape variety: 100% Syrah

The grapes are harvested manually at optimum maturity. The harvest is 100% destemmed. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28 to 32°C in open concrete vats. After devatting and pressing, the malolactic fermentation is carried out in vats.

A small part of the wines is aged in oak barrels to bring a delicate woody note, the other part is kept in vats to preserve the fruity aromas. These wines are racked regularly to allow natural stabilization of their components.
