The color is intense carmine red. The aromas are floral and fruity: iris, violet, faded rose, vine peach. The Fleurie should be consumed slightly chilled, around 14 °. It is an elegant and fine vintage, generally qualified as "feminine". With age, it evolves towards spicy notes.  It will go wonderfully with simple, local cuisine, especially dishes based on white meat, legs, poultry, etc.

Located in the north of Beaujolais, with very varied exposure, this appellation is dominated by the Madone de Fleurie, a small chapel built to fight against vine diseases. The basement is made up very homogeneously of granite arenas in pink tones, the pink granite of Fleurie.

Manual harvest, sorting table, partial destemming, fermentation of 12 to 15 days to take a little structure, but no longer to keep finesse and fruit.
