From Ferrari Trento, Italy’s pioneering metodo classico house founded in 1902 in the Trentino region, the Brut NV is a refined 100% Chardonnay sourced from high-altitude vineyards (300-700 meters) on the slopes of the Dolomites, featuring calcareous and mineral-rich soils that impart exceptional freshness and structure. Hand-harvested grapes undergo gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by secondary fermentation in the bottle with a minimum of 24 months’ aging on lees to develop complexity and finesse. Committed to sustainable viticulture and the Trento DOC designation, this flagship cuvée yields a pale straw sparkling wine with persistent fine mousse and remarkable purity.

Tasting Notes An elegant, refined sparkling with vibrant citrus and subtle toast, reflecting Trento’s mountain terroir. The nose reveals green apple, lemon zest, white flowers, and hints of brioche and toasted almond. On the palate, it is light- to medium-bodied and harmonious, with bright acidity, fine bubbles, and flavors of citrus pith, pear, and subtle pastry, leading to a long, mineral-laced finish.

Awards and Accolades The NV Ferrari Trento Brut earned 92 points from James Suckling for its precise freshness and elegant balance.

Serving and Cellaring Serve chilled at 8-10°C without decanting to preserve effervescence. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, light appetizers, or soft cheeses. Enjoy now through 2030, during which it will develop enhanced nutty and autolytic nuances.
