From Champagne Henriot in France's Champagne region, the Millésime Brut 2014 is a meticulously crafted 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir blend sourced from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards on chalky soils that impart finesse and structure. Hand-harvested grapes from the exceptional 2014 vintage—marked by a cool, wet spring and warm summer yielding concentrated yet fresh fruit—undergo gentle pressing and primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by secondary fermentation in bottle via the traditional method and extended lees aging of at least 8 years before disgorgement in October 2022 to develop complexity and creaminess. With a low dosage of 7 g/L, this production emphasizes purity and aging potential, yielding a yellow-gold sparkling wine with persistent fine mousse and remarkable vibrancy.

Tasting Notes A refined, vinous Champagne with fleshy raspberry tones, fresh bread aromas, and nutty undertones, building to a medium-full body with fine mousse and persistent fruit-driven length. The nose exudes ripe raspberry and fresh bread, with subtle vanilla and floral notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and harmonious, with vibrant acidity, delicate creaminess, and flavors of citrus, baked apple, and toasted almonds, leading to a long, balanced finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2014 Millésime Brut earned 93 points from James Suckling for its open, inviting profile with gentle nutty undertones and long persistence.

Serving and Cellaring Serve chilled at 8-10°C without decanting to preserve effervescence. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, poultry, or soft cheeses. Enjoy now through 2035, during which it will develop enhanced autolytic and nutty nuances.
