Predominantly 2015 harvest with 21% reserve wines (Cuvées 735-742), hand-harvested and vinified in oak foudres on lees with bâtonnage, no filtration or fining. Disgorged March 2024 at zero dosage (0-0.75 g/L) after extended cork aging, this limited late-release emphasizes 2015's ripeness, chalky purity, and remarkable balance from Jacquesson's precision blending.
Tasting Notes
Beautiful golden hue; nose of smoky chalk, warm brioche, frangipane, toasted hazelnut, almond, ripe white/yellow fruits, and pastry notes. Vineuse, taut palate shows citrus vibrancy, dried fruits, fine salty bitters, complex persistence, and fresh mineral length.
