Sourced from 55-year-old Nebbiolo vines in Treiso's Valeirano vineyard on calcareous-clay marl with sand at 380-450m south-facing slopes. Hand-harvested 2006 vintage underwent 15 days maceration/fermentation in temperature-controlled vats, malolactic in new French oak barrels, 20 months oak aging, and 6 months bottle rest before release at ~14.5% alcohol, now further evolved through extended bottle age.

Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red with orange/garnet reflections; exuberant aromatics of super-ripe perfumed fruit, truffle, smoke, underbrush, spices, cigar box, wild berries, and minerality. Fat, lush, silky palate shows exotic ripe fruit concentration, refined building tannins, high-pH richness, and elegant mineral persistence with herbaceous/truffle complexity.
