M. Chapoutier Crozes-Ermitage Les Varonniers Rouge 2022

From Maison M. Chapoutier in Tain-l’Hermitage, Northern Rhône, the Crozes-Ermitage Les Varonniers Rouge 2022 is a refined Syrah from 60-year-old vines on south-east facing granitic slopes near Hermitage hill. Hand-harvested from organic and biodynamic vineyards, it’s vinified in concrete tanks and aged 14–18 months in oak casks (20% new), offering a deep garnet hue with vibrant complexity.
